Cookies and browser storage both save information on your device, but they work differently. This page describes the cookies and browser storage we observed when we checked every page of refreshmedspafl.com on October 19, 2026, before and after accepting. Browser settings, what you do on the site and changes by the services can affect what is stored.
How consent works on this site
- On your first visit a banner offers two equal choices: Accept and Reject.
- Until you accept, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and our chat window do not load at all. Scrolling, clicking or waiting is not taken as acceptance. If you have not accepted, the chat button explains what the chat sends and offers “Load chat”: that loads the chat alone, for the rest of your visit.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a Reject and do not show the banner.
- Your choice is stored in this browser, in the
wpstar_consentcookie, for up to 365 days. We also keep a record of each choice on our server, including choosing “Load chat”: a random receipt ID (the same one saved in your cookie), the time, your choice, the banner version, whether your browser sent Global Privacy Control, the page you were on, your browser type and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. We keep these records for three years, to show what each visitor chose, then delete them. If we change the services the banner covers, we ask again. - Change your mind any time with the Privacy choices button at the bottom left of the screen, or the link of the same name at the bottom of every page. If you switch to Reject, the Google Analytics and Clarity cookies on our domain are deleted and the page reloads without them. Cookies that Microsoft set on its own domains stay until they expire or you clear them in your browser.

Cookie-free page statistics (every visit)
Cloudflare, which delivers and protects our website, adds Cloudflare Web Analytics to our pages. It counts page views and measures how fast pages load, sending Cloudflare the page address, your browser type and page-load timings. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, and it runs on every visit, whether or not you accept.
Statistics and session recording (only after you accept)
Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited and how people find us. Microsoft Clarity shows us how pages are used, through session recordings and heatmaps of clicks and scrolling. Both load through Google Tag Manager, which itself loads only after you accept.

Chat (only after you accept)
Our chat window comes from GoHighLevel, our customer communication platform. Once it loads, it notes the pages you visit and how you arrived (for example a search or an ad) and looks up your approximate location, so that if you contact us we know what you were reading. It also loads fonts from Bunny Fonts. It keeps this in your browser’s storage:

Other content that contacts outside services
- Google Maps: many pages have a map of our location that loads only when you select “Show map”. Loading it sends connection and request information to Google, including your IP address. Our address and the directions link work without it.
- Forms: the contact, appointment request and offer forms are GoHighLevel frames, served from go.rms.refreshmedspafl.com. When one loads, before you submit anything, GoHighLevel records that the form was viewed, the page it is on and your approximate location; the form loads fonts from Google and runs Cloudflare’s bot check.
- Links to Boulevard (gift cards), Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and other sites are plain links: nothing loads from them until you click.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides Privacy choices, every browser lets you see and delete cookies and site data, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Deleting the wpstar_consent cookie brings the banner back on your next visit.
